Evacuees

Try to imagine what it would be like to be a child in WW2. Difficult isn't it? But we can help you find out just what it might have been like by turning you into an evacuee for a few days.

You will set off for Norfolk with your gas mask, your identity card and your ration book (you will probably make these at school before you come). Just like the children in WW2, you won't know what it's like where you are going.

When you arrive we'll give you a sticky bun and a drink and then take you to your new "home". You will help us to fill sandbags, protect the windows and dig for victory. Hide in the air raid shelters when you hear the siren!

Someone here is a Nazi spy but we don't know who it is. You will help us search for the spy by carrying out special team missions and hunting through the woods for clues. Can you uncover him or her before it's too late?

This is an action-packed and fun-filled visit. You may enjoy yourself so much you even forget there is a war on!
