Monster Trail
Have you ever been in a team? Do you know what makes a team great? If you do The Monster Trail, you will learn how to be a great team player.
You will be in a team with some other children from your class (or pack or unit). You might not know them very well at the start of day but by the end of the day you will be an unbeatable team. But first you need to be trained in teamwork skills.
We have some really fun activities to show you how to work as a team. You will have to get through the spider's web (eek!) and across the acid river (ouch!). You will need to keep your wits about you to defuse the bomb and work out the water challenge on the agility course.
If you succeed (and we're sure you will) then you will be allowed onto The Monster Trail in the afternoon. This means finding clues in the woods so that you can complete your "team ticket". Keep a VERY close eye out for the monsters - if they "zap" you, your team loses a life. But if you're really clever, and use the magic password, you can pacify the monsters and gain their help. During all this there are puzzles, cryptograms and anagrams to complete so you're going to be really busy!
This is a really exciting activity which will make you think a lot and make you squeal (a bit). Anyone can do it, but how well you do it is up to you!
