A Fine City

Where do you live and what is it like? These are the questions we will be asking you because we want to find out about you and where you live and compare it to here.

We will be going to Norwich (a very fine city) so that you can find out some of the interesting facts about the city and the adventures, good and terrible, of the people who have lived there.

Find out how badly the Normans treated the Saxons. Then find out how the Saxons got their own back on Norman the Foreman when they were building the cathedral! Hear the tale of the citizens who burnt the cathedral doors down and the terrible fate they met. Visit the Norman castle where you can help to transport the stone from Caen to Norwich and build a Norman arch.

Cities are full of exciting facts if you know where to look for them. Luckily we do!
