Aylmerton
Aylmerton is our original centre. It is in an old school building although we have built quite a few new bits as well. There are lots of different buildings here as well as a HUGE playing field.
Around the old playground are The School (very original name!), The Lodge and The Annexe. The School is the biggest with 48 beds in four dormitories, three dining rooms and a classroom. If you are quite a big group, you will probably sleep in here. The next biggest is The Lodge which has 33 beds in six rooms. If you are a small group, you will probably sleep in here. The smallest is The Annexe which has 12 beds in two rooms. If your group is a bit too big for one of the other buildings, you might sleep in here. If your group is ENORMOUS you might need all our buildings so you could be in any of them. It doesn't really matter because they are all really nice!
You will sleep in a dormitory with lots of your friends (probably in a bunk bed) and your bed will already be made when you get here so you won't have to bring sheets or a sleeping bag. That will leave lots of room for all the old clothes you will need during the week. Each room has its own toilet and shower so you won't have to go far if you need a wee in the night! And no one will be able to disturb you which is really good news because you are going to be so busy each day that you'll really need your sleep. Your leader's room will be very nearby, just in case you need them. Don't forget to keep your dorm tidy because Claire gives points and prizes!
