Safety and security

This is likely to be your biggest concern. You will undoubtedly want to know that your child will be safe on their residential visit with us. Scare stories in the press may even have made you consider not letting your child take part in this trip.

We can assure you that your child will be safer with us than at any other time in his or her life! We have over 19 years experience in running residential visits for all age groups and our safety record is exemplary.

We obviously comply with all the necessary statutory guidelines and in many cases we exceed these as we consider them to be insufficiently rigorous. We were, for example, the first Centre to insist on life jackets for all children when necessary and did so long before this was a legal requirement.

We have provided extremely comprehensive details of all our safety procedures on SAFETY and, if you do have any concerns, we would urge you to read this to put your mind at rest.
