LIZ PHIRI (Instructor)
Liz has three years experience as a key worker with people with learning disabilities during which time she was the entertainments manager and also in charge of outdoor pursuits, skills and independence.
She spent a season as a chief instructor at a summer camp in the USA for children with learning disabilities and a season as a ski rep in charge of primary school ski trips.
She has also lived and worked in Greece for two years (and is fluent as a result). She has British Sign Language Stage 1.
Liz has worked for us for six years, during which time she established our charity in Malawi, working there for three winter seasons.
Her radio name, for no discernible reason, is Sweaty Betty and she is our disco queen.
